As part of our dedication to a healthier community, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is home to a spectrum of healthcare services. We continue our outreach efforts to help ensure that residents know they can access quality care to help manage, and even prevent, many common and complex conditions.

Here is just a sample of the services available at Cedar Hill.

Cardiology

Clinicians at Cedar Hill diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the heart and cardiovascular system, including heart attack, heart failure, heart rhythm disorders and coronary artery disease. We also offer care for vascular disease, deep vein thrombosis and peripheral arterial disease.

Our cardiac catheterization lab is a dedicated space where cardiologists use minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease.

OB/GYN

For the first time in nearly a decade, Wards 7 and 8 have access to local maternity care, right here at Cedar Hill. Our secure unit features four private labor and delivery suites and 14 private postpartum rooms, designed for the comfort of our patients, their babies and families. There are two dedicated cesarean section operating rooms, a dedicated post-anesthesia care unit, and 24/7 emergency OB and hospitalist care.

For babies who need specialized care, Cedar Hill offers a five-bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursery. We also provide postpartum support for lactation, recovery and newborn care.

In addition to our maternity services, patients can turn to us for access to affiliated clinicians located at the hospital to address general gynecology services to address family planning, abnormal vaginal bleeding, menopausal symptoms and more.

Children from birth to high school can receive care at Cedar Hill in our dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department. The unit is designed with children in mind, with separate registration, triage and waiting areas.

Surgery

Inpatient and outpatient general surgery and specialty procedures are available at the hospital. We work hard to put our patients and their families at ease throughout the process.

Cedar Hill offers abdominal, gynecological, vascular and cesarean section procedures. We also provide surgery for the appendix, colon, gallbladder, stomach, intestines and more. When appropriate, patients may qualify for minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Kidney Care

Cedar Hill offers a diverse array of support for kidney and kidney-related conditions. These include disorders related to heart disease, diabetes, lupus, pre-eclampsia and pregnancy. Patients also choose us for the treatment of chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, critical care nephrology, kidney stones and more.

Radiology

Through Cedar Hill, our community now has access to convenient imaging services, close to home. We offer X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound here at the hospital. X-rays are even available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Rehabilitation

When recovering from trauma, surgery or illness, you may need specialized care. Cedar Hill offers outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical therapy.

We celebrate every win patients have along the way, and we are dedicated to helping them improve their quality of life and regain independence.

Growing Fast

At Cedar Hill, we are far from finished expanding. We will invest in new technology and equipment to grow our capabilities to help deliver even more specialized care to our community.
