The Washington Informer continued its 60th anniversary year on September 18, 2025, with the evening opening of the Visual Legacy Exhibit at Gallery O on H in Northeast D.C. The exhibit showcases six decades of history, culture, and community leadership through powerful images from the Informer’s archives..
The evening also featured a regional Chamber of Commerce leadership forum, bringing together leaders from the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce, Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Washington Black Chamber of Commerce, along with emerging voices and community partners.
Guests filled the gallery and courtyard, engaging in conversation, reflection, and networking throughout the night. This photo story captures moments from the Visual Legacy Exhibit, the chamber panel discussion, and the community connections that defined the event.
