(Mediaite) – One of the newest revelations in the saga of the University of Oklahoma frat’s racist chants is that SAE frat mother Beauton Gilbow used the n-word multiple times in a Vine, to the tune of the song “All Gold Everything.” Gilbow issued a statement saying, in part, “I am heartbroken by the portrayal that I am in some way racist… I was singing along to a Trinidad song but completely understand how the video must appear in the context of the events that occurred this week.”
On CNN earlier today, Don Lemon defended Gilbow to a bewildered Sunny Hostin, who used the video of Gilbow to say racism is “so pervasive in the culture of that fraternity.”
