(USA Today) – Imagine the NFL coaching search is a high school cafeteria. Todd Bowles just walked in with his tray full of food. He is the guy who gets to sit wherever he wants. Here’s how the coaching search is shaping up, according to various reports and rumors:

The openings

Atlanta Falcons: Now that the Cardinals are out of the playoffs, the race for Todd Bowles can begin. The Falcons are one of the first teams he is expected to meet with. Atlanta has also had an initial meeting with Patriots’ coordinator Josh McDaniels. Both Doug Marrone and Rex Ryan are also expected to meet with Atlanta.

Buffalo Bills: Ahh, the fun of going through a coaching search … again. With Doug Marrone’s departure, the Bills have to find a(nother) coach who can tie together the Bills’ young, talented players into a competitive team (again.)
