The Congressional Black Caucus PAC has endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden’s bid for the White House.
The Capitol Hill lawmakers, who began rallying months ago behind the 77-year-old Democratic presidential candidate, formally endorsed him Monday, two weeks after civil rights icon John Lewis became the 38th member of the CBC to support Biden.
“He is the appropriate person now to step forward and take the reins of this great nation of ours,” Rep. Gregory Meeks, the PAC chair, said in a recent press release.
