D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has issued an order to pause various activities in the District from Wednesday through Jan. 15.

The order, which goes into effect at 10 p.m. Wednesday, also extends the city’s state of emergency and public health emergency through March 31.

For activities that are not paused by the order, Bowser strongly encourages residents to practice caution during the holiday season to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The full order is available at coronavirus.dc.gov/phasetwo.
