D.C. has gone 10 days without a coronavirus-related death as of Monday, including the first full week with zero reported deaths since the start of the pandemic.
The Washingtonian first reported the one-week milestone.
The most recent virus-related death — a 64-year-old female — came on Jan. 17, according to D.C. health department data. The city’s death toll currently stands at 1,141.
D.C. currently has administered roughly 843,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines, with nearly 51% of city residents now fully vaccinated, according to health department data.
