D.C. has gone 10 days without a coronavirus-related death as of Monday, including the first full week with zero reported deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The Washingtonian first reported the one-week milestone.

The most recent virus-related death โ€” a 64-year-old female โ€” came on Jan. 17, according to D.C. health department data. The cityโ€™s death toll currently stands at 1,141.

D.C. currently has administered roughly 843,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines, with nearly 51% of city residents now fully vaccinated, according to health department data.
