D.C.’s health department has partnered with CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens to provide flu vaccines, according to a directive from Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office, which stressed the importance of everyone 6 months and older getting a flu shot this year.

To make it more convenient to get the vaccines, Walgreens provides immunizations at the city’s coronavirus testing site at F Street NW from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

CVS Pharmacy provides vaccines at the following three firehouse testing sites from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays:

– Engine 8, 1520 C Street SE
– Engine 30, 50 49th Street NE
– Engine 33, 101 Atlantic Street SE

While no registration is required, those seeking the shots should bring their insurance card and a government-issued ID.
