The D.C. government is offering a free beer to anyone 21 and older who receives a coronavirus vaccination Thursday at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at The Reach at the Kennedy Center. No appointment is needed and the beer from Solace Brewing Company will be offered to those receiving the inoculation.

โ€œCome and get vaccinated and grab a beer, on us, to enjoy what looks to be a beautiful Thursday,โ€ Mayor Muriel Bowser tweeted.

As of Wednesday, D.C. has administered roughly 532,000 vaccine doses, with about 22% of its residents now fully vaccinated, according to city data.
