D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and members of her administration will join city residents and others on Jan. 20 for the 2020 Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Peace Walk and Parade.
The annual event honors the American hero in the nation’s capital of a country that will be forever changed by his legacy.
Assembly for the event begins at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Good Hope Road in Southeast.
There will also be a Health and Community Fair at the R.I.S.E. Gateway Pavillon (2730 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE) from noon to 3 p.m.
