D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s administration, in partnership with the D.C. National Guard, will host a hiring event Wednesday, July 19 for the District’s veterans.
The event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at D.C. Armory in Southeast, offers veterans and transitioning military members the opportunity to participate in professional development workshops and connect with District, state and federal agencies as well as private-sector companies looking to hire.
Attendees must bring one of the following types of documentation:
• DD-214 Discharge Form
• Military ID
• VA Card
• Letter from an assisted veterans’ home indicating status as a veteran.
