The third annual Chuck Brown Day will be held Saturday at the Northeast park named for the late go-go music legend.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser invites the public to join her at 3 p.m. to celebrate Brown’s music and memory. The outdoor fun will include giveaways, refreshments and live performances by the Chuck Brown Band, EU featuring Sugar Bear, and the We Are One Tribute X-perience Band.
The Chuck Brown Foundation will also hold its annual backpack giveaway.
