The D.C. Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Small Business Summit and Showcase at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Monday, furthering its nearly nine-decade mission of uplifting and advancing opportunities for local entrepreneurs.ย

The daylong event brought together corporate sponsors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and community leaders for workshops, networking sessions, and panel discussions focused on the challenges facing small businesses in the District. NBC Washington anchor Jummy Olabanji served as the mistress of ceremonies, as attendees discussed several topics, such as: access to capital, digital transformation, government contracting, and economic inclusion.

In addition to offering resources and information, the free and annual summit also included an exhibitor showcase and a luncheon honoring local business leaders as part of the chamberโ€™s Small Business Awards.
