DC Health Link will kick off its annual Open Enrollment event at 11 a.m. Saturday, aiming to promote healthy living and the value of health insurance for District residents
The virtual enrollment event — themed “Health Roundup 2021” — unites local leaders, leading health care advocates, celebrities, radio personalities and entertainers.
Mayor Muriel Bowser, D.C. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and other District leaders will make appearances and deliver messages in this pre-recorded virtual program to help launch the open enrollment period, DC Health Link said in a press release.
Following the event, DC Health Link will kick off a 90-minute “Enroll-a-Thon,” providing city residents the opportunity to call DC Health Link’s Contact Center to sign up for health coverage.
