In keeping with D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s goals of making the city a carbon-neutral and climate-resilient by 2050, her administration joined forces Thursday with leadership from the D.C. Department of Energy and Environment to host a screening of the first two #DCSolarStories documentary episodes.

The event concluded with two panel conversations moderated by department Director Tommy Wells.

The department, in collaboration with other District agencies, external stakeholders and residents, is working to help reach Bowser’s climate resilience goals.

The remaining six episodes will air Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on the department’s InstagramTV feed.
