The PG Brave traveled to Delaware on Saturday to face the Wilmington War Eagles with a depleted roster, a recurring challenge for the team this season.

The players who suited up in new matching uniforms played with passion and determination despite being outnumbered by the War Eagles’ roster of more than 30 players. Wilmington secured the win, though PG came close to scoring multiple times and fought through adversity.

“This is an area we must improve in,” said team owner LaDonna M. Smith. “Commitment matters โ€” whether we’re at home or on the road. We know we can be better, and we’re determined to get there.”

Coach Derrick “Cool” Scott emphasized accountability: “Everyone needs to do their job.”

The Brave host their next home game at 6 p.m. Saturday at Fairmont Heights High School in Landover, Maryland. The game will feature Faith on the Field Night.

Tickets are available at www.PGBrave.com or through players and staff.
