The Washington Informer will host the Best of The DMV Winners Celebration & Fundraiser on Sunday, December 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Busboys and Poets Anacostia, located at 2004 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE. The event will bring together Best of The DMV 2025 finalists, supporters, and community members for an evening recognizing standout businesses, creators, and organizations across the region.
Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music from Elijah Jamal Balbed and The JoGo Project, and sets from BOTDMV finalist DJ Lance Reynolds. The evening will also include the official announcement of this year’s Best of The DMV winners and the introduction of the James Wright Memorial Scholarship, honoring the legacy of Informer reporter James Wright.
Tickets include two drink tickets and full access to the program. Space is limited, and attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance as the Informer closes out the year with this community-centered celebration.
