FDA-Approved Coronavirus Test Now on Amazon

A coronavirus test approved by the Food and Drug Administration is now available on Amazon.

The DxTerity COVID-19 Saliva at Home Collection Kit is for sale by a third-party retailer on Amazon.com, WTTG-TV (Channel 5) reported.

A single pack costs $110 and a set of 10 is $1,000 — both of which include prepaid express return shipping and laboratory PCR testing, with test results available within 24-72 hours after the lab receives the sample, WTTG reported.

The test can be used by those with and without coronavirus symptoms.

As of Thursday, the U.S. has reported roughly 21.4 million coronavirus cases and 362,000 virus-related deaths, both tops globally, according to a Johns Hopkins University tracker.
