The Food and Drug Administration sent out a warning on contaminated hand sanitizers that contain methanol.

WJLA-TV (Channel 7) reported the FDA says children who accidentally swallow hand sanitizer and adolescents and adults who ingest it as an alternative to alcohol are at risk the most.

Methanol can be deadly if ingested but also unsafe if absorbed through the skin.

The following methanol-laced hand sanitizers have been recalled:

– bio aaa Advance Hand Sanitizer
– Lavar 70 Gel Hand Sanitizer
– CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 75% Alcohol
– Hand sanitizer Gel Unscented 70% Alcohol
– Bersih Hand Sanitizer Gel Fragrance Free
– Antiseptic Alcohol 70% Topical Solution hand sanitizer
– Mystic Shield Protection hand sanitizer
-Britz Hand Sanitizer Ethyl Alcohol 70%

The following hand sanitizers have been recalled or believed to have been made at the same facility as the methanol-laced sanitizers:
– LumiSkin Advance Hand Sanitizer 4 oz.
– LumiSkin Advance Hand Sanitizer 16 oz.
– QualitaMed Hand Sanitizer
– All-Clean Hand Sanitizer
– Esk Biochem Hand Sanitizer
– The Good Gel Antibacterial Gel Hand Sanitizer
– CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 80% Alcohol
– CleanCare NoGerm Advanced Hand Sanitizer 80% Alcohol
– Saniderm Advanced Hand Sanitizer
