Do you feel more connected or isolated since the pandemic โ€” and why?

Ronald Ratiff, Southeast D.C.
โ€œMore connected because we are out here in the world. When the pandemic was happening, everybody was closed in and shut in. Thereโ€™s still some viruses thatโ€™s still lurking out here, actually after the pandemic I caught this virus called the rhinovirus and it has no medication to cure itโ€ฆ When I went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with it, I had never heard of it before.โ€ย

Maria Rodriguez, Chicago
โ€œNeither, I feel normal because I donโ€™t go out anyway, so whether I stay in the house all the time or not, Iโ€™m OK.โ€ย

Rashad Proctor, Northwest D.C.
โ€œI donโ€™t really feel anything. It hasnโ€™t affected me that much. Because I donโ€™t really interact with the public like that, Iโ€™m kind of an introvert.โ€

Francis Williams, Northeast D.C.
โ€œItโ€™s no difference to me because Iโ€™m always by myself anyway.โ€
