First of ‘Pathways to Homeownership’ Webinars Set for June 14-18

The Capital Area Asset Builders and Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS have joined forces to launch a strategic partnership to help underprivileged populations get on the path toward homeownership.

The first set of webinars, to be held June 14-18, will focus on homeownership in the District of Columbia. The second set of presentations planned for October will focus on homeownership in Montgomery County.

Introductions will be made to workshop participants willing to share their stories about their path to homeownership.

Dates and times of next week’s presentations are as follows:

• Lesson 1: Understanding Your Financial Relationship (June 14, 6-7 p.m.)
• Lesson 2 The Art of Budgeting (June 15, 6-7 p.m.)
• Lesson 3: Take Charge of Your Credit! (June 16, 6-7 p.m.)
• Lesson 4: Understanding Your Financial Rights (June 17, 6-7 p.m.)
• Lesson 5: Pay Yourself First (June 18, 6-7 p.m.)
