Ousted Trump administration official Michael Flynn is prepared to testify that the president ordered him to reach out to Russia.
Flynn, who served as Trump’s national security adviser before his abrupt firing earlier this year, pleaded guilty Friday to lying to the FBI, and as part of a plea deal will fully cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller.
According to reports, Flynn will testify that Trump “directed him to make contact with the Russians,” which blatantly contradicts Trump’s claim that he had nothing to do with Russia before or after his election.
