WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Capital City Go-Go (24-24), the NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, defeated the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (21-26), 121-103, on Saturday afternoon in the nation’s capital. The Go-Go finished their inaugural season 13-11 at the Entertainment and Sports Arena.

The Go-Go began the game red-hot from the field, finishing the first quarter 8-of-9 from three and 14-of-23 from the field to take a 37-22 lead at the end of the first quarter. Capital City had total control of the game, as they led all but 2:23 seconds of game time and spent the final 37 minutes of the game leading by double digits.

The Go-Go finished the game 17-of-36 (.472) from behind the arc and shot 49 percent from the field. They also outscored the Mad Ants 21-3 in fast break points and held Fort Wayne to 41.2 percent shooting from the field in the win.

Three Go-Go players scored 20 points in the game, led by Wizards’ two-way player Jordan McRae’s 22-point game in his return from injury. Chris Chiozza was the Go-Go’s floor general, finishing with 21 points and eight assists with a plus-20 net rating. Pe’Shon Howard stayed hot with 20 points – his fourth 20-point effort in the last six games – on 6-of-8 shooting from three. Duje Dukan (14), Kellen Dunham (12) and Noah Allen (12) all scored in double figures, with Allen adding 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.

Davon Reed (21) and Edmond Sumner (20) led the Mad Ants in points, with Alize Johnson grabbing a game-high 16 rebounds. Jared Sam (12) and Demetrius Denzel-Dyson (10) each had double-digit scoring efforts off the bench as well. Despite the loss, Fort Wayne took the season series from the Go-Go with a 2-1 record.

Capital City will head to the West Coast to wrap up their regular season with trips to Santa Cruz on Wednesday, March 20 and Stockton on Saturday, March 23 – each game tipping at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. Fort Wayne will host the Wisconsin Herd on Tuesday, March 19.
