GoGoRadioLIVE, an internet radio station housed within the revitalized Shops at Iverson (formerly known as Iverson Mall on Branch Avenue), considers itself the official station of go-go music and culture in the D.C. region.

With go-go music as popular as ever, GoGoRadioLIVEโ€™s โ€œCoffee & Crank,โ€ the stationโ€™s flagship show, has amassed a loyal audience.

Hosted by D.C.โ€™s own DJ Frank White, โ€œCoffee & Crankโ€ is broadcasted live via GoGoRadio LIVEโ€™s mobile and video streamed live via YouTube and Facebook every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., reaching up to 25,000 people per show.

White often interacts with the audience, and his show has been shared hundreds of times on social media.

โ€œWe get people from London to Africa to Hawaii to Japan, all mixed in with local lovers of go-go music,โ€ White said. โ€œWatching the love evolve to other cultures is a beautiful thing to witness. At first, we started streaming live on Facebook but then our numbers got so huge, Facebook actually started kicking 3,000-4,000 people per show, so we began streaming on YouTube as well.โ€

GoGoRadioLIVE said it is currently liked and followed on Facebook by more than 39,000 fans and growing, largely due to the popularity of โ€œCoffee & Crank.โ€
