Earlier this week, photos of the Obama girls looking bored and completely over it as the President made jokes about sparing the lives of two turkeys named ‘Mac’ and ‘Cheese’ at the Turkey Pardon ceremony made it’s rounds on the Internet. While most websites kept their comments light and funny, Elizabeth Lauten — a digital and social media specialist for congressman Stephen Fincher — went against the grain. She blasted the 13 and 16-year-old girls for being indifferent toward their father’s speech and for dressing like “they deserved a spot at a bar.”
