(ILoveOldSchoolMusic.com) – If reality TV would have existed back in the day, Marvin Gaye and his then-wife, Janis Gaye would have garnered ratings that were through the roof. Their colorful escapades, and in this case, sexscapades make today’s reality shows look like Sesame Street in comparison.

Marvin’s wife, Jan, is released a new memoir on May 19, 2015 titled, After the Dance: My Life With Marvin Gaye and a lot of the details she’s revealing are mind blowing! One of the things Jan is talking about in this book is how she had an affair behind Marvin’s back with R&B singers. Frankie Beverly and Teddy Pendergrass and also how Marvin made her have threesomes with other couples. Oh Lawd! She’s telling it all.

In order to explain the Teddy P. and Frankie Beverly affairs, we have to first break down how Jan’s and Marvin sexual trysts started. Marvin started dating Janis when she was 17 years old and he was 32. That’s also when they first had sexual intercourse, according to Janis.

  1. All of these ex’s who wrote books after the death of the celebrity, should be ashamed of themselves. It’s all for money, regardless of who they hurt or embarrass. They love money at any cost. SMH. Sick Ass People

  2. It’s all sad but why taint people after death. Maybe spare them or they were fine while they were being taken care of.

  3. Never any shame in telling the truth at whatever point in life you decide to tell it. And if I needed money and had lived a life that I could write about and people would buy, I would do it. I would not choose to starve just so I could hold onto my own secret. Yes her husband was Marvin Gaye but she didn’t steal his life, she has written about the life she had with him. The story is just as much hers as it is his.
