KeeSpirit PRAISE 2019 “SHIFT,” a meshing of the church and performing arts groups, embarks upon THEARC in southeast D.C. at 4 p.m., Nov. 2 for a power-packed evening of movement through dance, step and mime.

Since 2000, PRAISE has brought together more 9,000 individuals from within the regions of D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia Tidewater and Anchorage, Alaska, in power-packed events of movement arts.

“This event is electrifying as we witness each participating group uniquely express themselves through various movement styles,” said PRAISE founder Dr. Keshia Bright, who ensures that “each year attendees will receive a different experience.”

The PRAISE program began 19 years ago through a vision given to Bright to build a program in the D.C. area that would touch lives, reach communities, and spread the gospel.

Each year PRAISE serves as a highlight for many groups to express their talents through movement, business networking, community service for youth and much more, including the offer of opportunities for businesses and local entrepreneurs.
