The family of former NBA star Lamar Odom has joined his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and her family at his bedside in a Nevada hospital after he was found unresponsive Tuesday in a nearby brothel.
Odom had been at The Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, for about four days when he was discovered and rushed to the hospital, which is about an hour away.
Multiple reports state that Odom had used cocaine after arriving Saturday at the brothel, where he was staying for $10,000 a night.
During a 911 call that was played at a news conference, a woman said she also saw Odom take 10 herbal supplement tablets over a period of three days.
An effort to transport him to the hospital by helicopter was unsuccessful due to Odom’s 6’10” frame, authorities said.
Kardashian, who was in the process of a messy divorce from Odom after four years of marriage, has been making medical decisions for him.
