The D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation’s Late Night Hype program returned for its fifth season on June 5, 2026, with a kickoff event at Ridge Road Community Center. Designed to provide teens with a safe, welcoming place to spend summer evenings, the program combines recreation, music and community engagement at locations across the District.
