The “Antiguan Women Make History in Row Across Atlantic” was a really cool read and something I definitely haven’t heard about in the mainstream media. As a fellow Caribbean woman, it’s great to see these women defying stereotypes about Black women and making waves, literally. Big ups!

WI Heritage Tour Continues to Inspire

Every year I say I am going to attend The Washington Informer’s African American Heritage Tour, but time always seems to creep up on me. The pictures are wonderful and I am sure the site of Black Georgetown was well worth it! When do the tickets go on sale for next year? I want to put it on my calendar and not miss it!
