Kudos to Steph Curry for giving back in a subtle but major way to Howard University’s golf program. Sports like golf are often overlooked and underfunded at HBCUs, but they deserve the backing, just like the often underperforming basketball and football teams. I appreciate Mr. Curry for his efforts. He’s a great Black athlete role model!

Touched by the Word
I really enjoyed The Religion Corner this week. It really touched me, so much so I almost went to church on Sunday, but personal issues like anxiety kept me at home. However, I went on YouTube and watched church all day. I feel rejuvenated and I know that this, too, shall pass. Thanks, Lyndia, for the push.
