Iโ€™m glad former U.S. Education Secretary John King Jr. is entering the gubernatorial race in Maryland. I followed his tenure during his time at the Department of Education. I think itโ€™s a good thing heโ€™s not a politician and this will be his first campaign. Not saying he will get far, but I am open to hear more of what he wants to do.

Itโ€™s cool that Barefoot awarded $10,000 each to five Black women entrepreneurs. Itโ€™s not going to go very far, obviously, but itโ€™s a great gesture by a corporation to acknowledge their Black women customers. Iโ€™m sure other brands will follow. Congrats ladies.
