The latest Washington Informer I picked up was a really great issue. On the cover alone there was a story on John McCain, RFK Campus groundbreaking and a story about Andrew Gillum, who is close to becoming the state of Florida’s first Black governor. Wow! I had no idea who he was or what’s going on down in Florida, but way to shake things up! I love getting my news from The Washington Informer — good job!

McCain Deserves U.S. Respect

I was glad to see that you guys covered Sen. John McCain’s passing with grace and dignity — after all, he was an American hero. The thing that I like about him is that although he has made some very bad mistakes or policy decisions, he has acknowledged his wrongs and has tried to make things right. Many people wonder why anyone cares about McCain, but he put his life on the line for this country and tried to do the right thing — that should be commended.
