Letters to the Editor

I was utterly shocked and dismayed when I saw that Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash. I was in disbelief for hours. Many of us has seen Kobe since the ’90s when he was a high school prodigy, championships with the Lakers and now him as a retired “girl dad.” This hurts. No matter what, he was one of us. He will be missed. Gone but never forgotten.

Ulterior Motives

Hmmm … your “Black Mayors Converge for Meeting of the Minds” was interesting. It’s hard for me not to believe that these same mayors weren’t strategizing on how to better support presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg. They are all in each other’s pockets. If you don’t believe me, Google these Black mayors and Bloomberg and see what ya get.
