I saw the full-page ad in last week’s Informer about Black Restaurant Week and I’m glad I did. I never heard of Black Restaurant Week but I will most definitely be supporting my brothers and sisters with their establishments. I encourage everyone to participate so it can get bigger and better. If we can put money in the pockets of others with no problem, we can do the same for our own.

Museum Exhibit a Golden Opportunity

I really enjoyed the story “Senegalese Gold on Exhibit at National Museum of African Art.” The Informer is truly a gem to bring our community these types of stories that, yes, us Black people care about too. I personally love museums and art and I love history. With these pieces, it hits every mark for me and I can’t wait to make my way down and visit.
