LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Who Polices the Police?

Wow, that picture of the woman who was beaten by Metro police was very jarring, to say the least. However, it was very necessary to showcase what happens to people by the system that attacks first and asks questions later. I don’t know all of the facts of the case, but she did not deserve such a brutal attack. And the fact that the officer can’t be sued because he’s protected by WMATA. SMH. I feel helpless.

Taraji the Right One for Mental Health Push
I loved the spread of D.C.’s own Taraji P. Henson and how she beautiful she is. I think it’s great that she’s taking on mental health in the Black community. I think she is the perfect person to front this cause, because she will surely influence people to at least listen and consider the information they’re given.
