My question is, why is the CDC just now naming racism a public health threat? Is it because of the “Stop Asian Hate” movement? Is it the police killings? The senseless mass shootings? What made them stop and say, hey, this is a public health threat? And what now? What will be done with this information? I’m waiting…

Violent Tenants Must Go
I’m all for the bill that allows landlords to evict violent tenants, authored by D.C. Council member Anita Bonds. This is a no-brainer. People who can’t control their behavior must know there are consequences. You don’t get to wreak havoc on a neighborhood and stay. This may help reduce some of the bad actions and actors we see too often.
