Loudoun County Public Schools reported that 20 people in its orbit — including eight students — have tested positive for the coronavirus.

School officials said Tuesday that 10 staffers and two visitors also tested positive for the virus, WUSA-TV (Channel 9) reported.

Those infected are currently self-isolating, LCPS officials said.

According to the school system’s website, LCPS has had 102 positive staff cases and 49 student cases since Sept. 8.

As of Wednesday, Virginia has 267,128 coronavirus cases and 4,281 related deaths, according to the state health department.
