A handful of D.C.-area concert venues will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter an event as of Sunday.
I.M.P., a promotions company that runs the 9:30 Club, The Anthem, Merriweather Post Pavilion and the Lincoln Theatre, announced that guests will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative test result from the 72 hours before showtime, along with a matching photo ID.
โWeโve been closed for 17 months and want to do everything in our power to never experience a devastating shutdown like that ever again,โ the venues said in a statement, WJLA-TV (Channel 7) reported.
The venues said if the anti-coronavirus measures are an issue for customers, they will be refunded or given a voucher for an upcoming show, WJLA reported.
