The Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a gala Nov. 15 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland.
Gov. Wes Moore will deliver the keynote address at the event, which will recognize a decade of advocacy for Black-owned businesses across the state. The Democratic governor has championed economic empowerment and inclusive growth initiatives during his tenure.
The evening will feature awards, networking opportunities and remarks from chamber leadership and other guests.
“Reaching our 10-year milestone is a testament to the resilience, innovation and commitment of every MBCC member and supporter,” Ken White, president and CEO of the chamber, said in a statement. “As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our mission to expand opportunity, elevate voices and strengthen Black business ecosystems across Maryland.”
White added that having Moore at the celebration “reinforces that together, we can build a more inclusive and prosperous future.”
The chamber announced the gala Wednesday.
