Maryland reported 414 new confirmed coronavirus cases Wednesday, the smallest number of daily cases since July 6, state health department officials said.

The health department said Wednesday is the fourth consecutive day the state has had fewer than 600 new cases, the longest run since a monthlong stretch from June 14 to July 11, The Baltimore Sun reported.

The two-week average of newly reported cases is 659, a decrease of 26 percent since Aug. 3 and the lowest average since July 21, The Sun reported.

Maryland now has 101,649 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 3,522 deaths, according to a health department tracker.
