Maryland added 414 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the state’s total since the outset of the pandemic to 124,725.
Three people died of coronavirus-related illness, bringing Maryland’s death toll to 3,805, the state health department reported.
Maryland’s positivity rate is 2.68%, up from 2.59% the day prior. However, hospitalizations decreased from 344 to 334, with 77 people currently in intensive care units.
Prince George’s County leads the state with 29,494 coronavirus cases, while Montgomery County leads with 809 confirmed deaths.
