Members of Congress will co-host a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rep. John Conyers from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 in the Rayburn House Building (Room 2237) on Capitol Hill.

Among those scheduled to speak at the event are Reps. Karen Bass, who will speak on behalf of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Rashida Tlaib.

Additionally, there will be a viewing of “The Making of a Holiday,” hosted by LeVar Burton and Marla Gibbs, with special appearances by Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Garth Brooks and Robin Thicke.

The program will be aired nationwide during January, including at 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19 in D.C. on the CW network.
