Michael Strahan touched down on “Good Morning America” Tuesday.
He officially joined the morning show family just after 8 a.m., but not before they welcomed him with a tribute video summarizing his successful career.
The clip showed a baby Strahan, who eventually became a Super Bowl championship-winning football star. It then segued into his other morning show, “Live! with Kelly & Michael,” which helped with a seamless transition to “GMA.”
As he walked the red carpet lined with screaming fans into the studio he was met by co-hosts Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, George Stephanopoulos and Amy Robach, who recently replaced Josh Elliott when he moved to NBC Sports.
