Former first lady Michelle Obama won a Grammy for the audio version of “Becoming,” her bestseller memoir.

Obama received the award for best spoken word album at the 2020 Grammys, beating out John Waters and two of the Beastie Boys.

The memoir, which sold more than 725,000 copies on the first day of its release and more than 2 million overall in the U.S. and Canada, was the best-selling hardcover book of 2018.
