Monique Samuels, one of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” cast members, announced Sunday that she will no longer be part of the Bravo reality TV show.

Samuels, who reportedly declined to sign her contract for the sixth season, hinted that her family had issues with her continuing.

“It was a crazy ride. It’s not easy doing reality TV, and to be quite honest, I’m over it,” she said Sunday in a video posted to Instagram.

Samuel’s husband, former NFL star Chris Samuels, periodically appeared on the show in support of his wife, who lately had become the target of vicious comments regarding a fight she got into last year with fellow cast member Candiace Dillard-Bassett and the paternity of her youngest child.

“I was working overtime to really check myself because that’s the exact opposite of what I want to display on a TV show, and in real life, most importantly,” Samuels said in the video, which was posted shortly after the third part of the show’s Season 5 Reunion aired Sunday. “I’m always going to be a great example and role model for my kids, and you have to know when enough is enough. And enough is enough.”
