Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich says over 80% of the workers in a county database have reported getting a coronavirus vaccination.
Elrich said the database shows that among that group, 90% are fully vaccinated, WTOP reported.
Nevertheless, the database also showed large numbers of county employees who did not respond to a survey on vaccination status.
As of Monday, 37% of the county’s Fire & Rescue Service Department had not responded to the survey, WTOP reported. For the Department are Correction and Rehabilitation, 31% of employees hadn’t responded and at the Department of General Services, 25%.
At the other end of the spectrum, the Department of Public Libraries reported 93.7% of its employees stating they have received at least one dose of a vaccine.
