Monumental Sports Network will air 24 college football games this season, marking the regional sports network’s most expansive college football schedule to date.

The DMV-area broadcaster has added Hampton University as a new partner while renewing agreements with the University of Richmond, Towson University and HBCU GO. The lineup also includes games featuring local schools William & Mary and Virginia Military Institute, as well as historically Black colleges and universities Howard and Norfolk State.

Coverage begins Aug. 31 at noon with Hampton facing Jackson State University. That game, originally scheduled for Aug. 30, will air on tape delay. All other Hampton, Richmond and Towson games will broadcast live, while HBCU GO games will air on Sundays throughout the fall.

“This year’s expanded college football schedule on Monumental Sports Network reflects the incredible momentum we’re seeing with both new and returning broadcast partners,” said Friday Abernethy, MNMT general manager. “Welcoming Hampton to the Monumental lineup alongside longtime partners like Towson, Richmond and HBCU GO speaks to the growing trust and excitement around our platform.”

The network reaches approximately 3 million households in its coverage area. Viewers can access games through pay-TV subscriptions, monumentalplus.com or the Monumental+ app, available on iOS, Amazon Prime Video, Android, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung, X1 and Xfinity Xumo with eligible TV Everywhere login credentials.

As part of its Towson partnership, MNMT will also televise three Tigers women’s volleyball matches: Oct. 17 vs. Elon (6 p.m.), Oct. 31 vs. Stony Brook (6 p.m.) and Nov. 1 vs. Stony Brook (2 p.m.).
