President Donald Trump and his deplorable supporters are enjoying yet another political victory lap, after the two-year Robert Mueller special investigation found — just as The Donald has said all along — that there was “no collusion” between him or his campaign and Russian agents who sought to swing the 2016 election in his favor.

Now, unless there are food riots in this country in the next two years, he is on a glide path to reelection. Not that there aren’t some tense moments ahead for Trump, but with his take-no-prisoners, truth-be-damned style of campaigning, he wins again the way fools always win against unsuspecting “marks” — they drag them down to their level, and then they beat them with experience.

So, there was no collusion involving the President of the United States at the Russian government to influence the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, so said Attorney General William Barr in a four-page letter to Congressional leaders summarizing the full report which was submitted by Mueller just before closing time, Friday evening March 22.

Russia did meddle in the 2016 election but “the special counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts,” Barr wrote. In Trumpworld, that’s a slam dunk. But that wasn’t good enough.

But then, Barr wrote: “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.” Those are just meaningless, wasted words in Trumpworld. He’s already off and running, blasting from both barrels.

“The Mainstream Media is under fire as being corrupt and FAKE,” Dude tweeted. “For two years they pushed the Russian Collusion Delusion when they always knew there was No Collusion. They truly are the Enemy of the People and the Real Opposition Party!”

Wow! That’s stunning. “They truly are the Enemy of the People…” So, if some foreign adversary was at war with the U.S. and managed to invade these shores, would Trump’s “people” round up, arrest and detain all of the “enemies” along with any armed combatants that might be captured?

Instead of declaring that his partial exoneration (he’s not in the clear yet, not by a long shot however) was a victory, and declaring that his case proves that the system works the way it should, this guy — an inveterate liar, cheat, con man, and philandering whore monger who’s told around 10,000 lies or more according to fact-checkers since he’s been President — chose instead to trash the system … like with all his bankruptcies and deceit he can be trusted on his word alone.

For the time being, as close as he seems to get, every other day to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory — stock market, wars, conquest, space, employment, crime, his wall — Trump and his supporters, who literally believe that the country will be worse off if a White man like Donald J. Trump is not president see his re-election chances soaring.

“He’s got a core group of white supremacists (supporters) and it may be a good indicator,” said Dr. Ray Winbush, director of the Institute of Urban Research at Morgan State University.

It will be safer for the president’s legal prospects for him to stay in the White House, Mueller report notwithstanding.

Trump is not the problem, he’s merely a symptom of America’s very serious problems, race hatred, greed, and intolerance.

“Removing Trump will not remove the infrastructure of an entire party that embraced him, the dark money that funded him, the online radicalization that drummed his army, nor the racism he amplified and reanimated,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told CommonDreams.org.

Trump and Trumpism are evidence of the moral rot that has destroyed all the great Western civilizations of the past. And it’s fast approaching the USA.

They deceive themselves, thinking their “Great” days of post-World War II “Ozzie and Harriet” white world hegemony are coming back like music on vinyl disks, instead of recognizing the doom they are creating for themselves and for the rest of the lives (other than their own) they love to make miserable all over the planet.

I like the way my Mother used to say it, and I say it now to the Trumpistas: “Enjoy yourself. It’s later than you think.”
