With every gruesome Black life murdered, beat down, falsely arrested, cheated out of their property that’s now captured on camera, with every horror perpetrated by a white person, in uniform or just another “Karen” in a checkout line, someone just like Joe Biden will reassure the American people: “This is not who we are.”

Well, Joe Biden is probably the most decent white man elected to be president of the United States since Jimmy Carter, but the fact of the matter is, he/white folks just don’t get it. Being beast-like, in this paradise they’ve turned into a wilderness, IS who white people are.

White folks stole this continent from the Native people then committed genocide against their descendants. White folks stole millions of Black people from Africa, drug them to these same shores in chains, and sold them into chattel slavery like cattle, and worked them for hundreds of years, then lynched and tortured the descendants of those slaves, who made them rich, like it was a sport. For those crimes against God and humanity, white America must pay a price.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap,” says the King James Bible, Galatians 6:7. The Bible that the White Man says is the foundation for this society.

Just because Biden is set to replace the most despicable person ever to wear his neckties too long and pucker his mouth under an ugly comb-over doesn’t alter the fundamental sins — the Original Sins — of this nation. And Biden doesn’t get an honorary “Black Card” because he’s not Donald J. Trump, the narcissistic, impeached loser, openly white supremacist, multiple bankrupted philanderer who cheated on all his wives with porn stars and sex workers.

America is still America. And in terms of historical comparisons, Biden is no better than any of the Pharaohs of the Bible. He’s just like his 45 predecessors.

And there is clear evidence that Good Hearted Joe just doesn’t get it. Despite his having chosen Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) to be his running mate, and announcing that Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a Black diplomat who served in the Obama administration would serve as his ambassador to the United Nations, Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said what he’d seen of Biden’s cabinet announcements in late November “so far is not good.”

Clyburn is the guy who did more for Biden’s getting the Democratic nomination than anybody when he endorsed him in the South Carolina primary, and led a tide of Black voters who pushed Biden to the top. The 14-term representative doesn’t need to bite his tongue because he’s not looking for anything for himself from the incoming president.

And let’s be clear, Clyburn is no Denmark Vesey — another famous Black South Carolinian who was murdered after being accused of plotting a slave uprising in 1822. No. Clyburn is a straight-shooting, loyal, moderate Democrat. So, if he thinks Biden has not done enough for Black people who put him in the victor’s chair, then it’s clear. Biden is clearly falling short.

This is where the entire white American patina comes into view. Most White Democrats would look at Clyburn’s comments as being “extreme,” “impatient,” “immoderate.” And this doesn’t even consider the 74 million mostly white folks who voted for The Donald. They consider Biden to be a “tool” of the “radical, Communist, left-wing” taking money from Hugo Chavez and other deceased Latin American leaders.

So, yes, America. This is who you are. You bailed out the 17-year-old murderer who killed Black Lives Matter protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and then told us to buy your disgusting pillows. You acquitted, or never charged, the cops who murdered — oh, you name them — Breonna Taylor, Philando Castille, Eric Garner, the list goes on and on and on and on. How is that wickedness any better than giving smallpox-tainted blankets to Native people, or syphilis to Black men in Tuskegee, Alabama, or taking photos at public lynchings and making and selling postcards with the pictures?

This is who you are, Americans! You revile a Black president who gave you a watered-down health insurance protection plan, and you gave 74 million votes to the trifling white president who gutted that plan then played golf while nearly 300,000 of you died — at least 100,000 needlessly — from the coronavirus in the election year.

This IS who you are Americans!

The proper question for you to ask yourselves now: What will you become?
